Amenity Filled Living at Midtown Bethesda North

Midtown Bethesda North is the Montgomery County edition of Kettler's "Midtown" line of luxury condos currently available throughout the Washington, DC area.  Kettler is one of the largest developers of new condominiums and apartments in the DC area and currently has five new condo communities with residences for sale like Midtown Reston in Reston Town Center

Location

Midtown Bethesda North is located adjacent to the Montrose Crossing shopping center in North Bethesda at 5750 Bou Avenue near Rockville Pike.  The building offers ground floor retail and five levels of private garage parking and thirteen levels of residences.  The Twinbrook Metro station is a few blocks to the north.

Residences

Home types that remain available include one-bedroom with den (few remain), two-bedroom, two-bedroom with den, and penthouse residences.  The one-bedrooms have sold out.  Prices start at $360,000 for a one-bedroom with den and in the $440s for a two-bedroom and tw0-bedroom with den.  However, Kettler has advertised an internet special price of $399,900 for a select two-bedroom unit recently.  Penthouse units start at around $690,000 and go up to about $930,000 depending on the view, floor plan and special features like one with a huge rooftop terrace.

Interior square footage ranges from 941 square feet for a one-bedroom with den, 1,336 square feet and up for a two-bedroom and 1,326 square feet and larger for a two-bedroom with den.  Condo fees at Midtown Bethesda range from $499 per month for a one-bedroom with den to $920 per month for the largest penthouse.  Typical two-bedroom and two-bedroom with den condo fees range from $662 to $748 per month.

Features

The interior features are sleek and attractive with hardwood floors in the living areas, imported Italian cabinetry, GE Profile or Monogram stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms.  Hansgrohe fixtures and gas cooking help inspire one's inner chef.  Ceiling heights increase from nine feet for typical units to ten feet for residences on the penthouse level.

Amenities

Perhaps the most impressive feature of Midtown Bethesda North is the wide array of amenities.  The 20th floor sports a rooftop pool with hot tub and a "Skybox" community room with catering kitchen and views of Bethesda to the south.  The lobby has cool features like a copper shingle look on one wall, pleasing artwork and furniture, and a reflective amber design on the exterior doors of the elevators.  From the lobby residents can access a secure fitness center, theatre room with a projection screen, private meeting / conference room, billiards room, and a lounge area with complimentary coffee machine.  The front desk is staffed and concierge service is provided 24/7 by VIPdesk.  A guest suite is also available as an alternative to a hotel for the occasional visit from the in-laws.

"Midtown Bethesda North is known for its amenities and location," said Brenda Moreno, an agent with McWilliams|Ballard handling the property sales.  "Our rooftop pool is stunning and the 20th floor Sky box is great for entertaining.  The red line of Twinbrook Metro is just three blocks to the north and residents have easy access to retail like Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, and two-story Target."

Parking

One above grade garage parking space is included with the price of every unit and a second space can be purchased for $40,000.  If space for two cars is a must and an additional $40,000 is out of the question a mechanical lift might be a better option.  Available for $15,000 the lift allows two cars to fit in one space and is secured with a key and remote control.  It takes about 20 seconds to complete the process of lifting or lowering a car into place and there is enough space for two SUVs according the sales agents.
